Orphelinat Cinq Étoiles is a registered Non-Governmental Development Organization based in Matadi, Democratic Republic of Congo. Officially recognized by the Government of the Republic and working in partnership with similar organizations, we are a social institution with educational, philanthropic, socio-cultural, and professional objectives.
We are more than an orphanage we are a family, a school, and a launching pad for future leaders. Our holistic approach addresses not just the immediate needs of vulnerable children, but also their long-term development, education, and integration into society.
Our mission is to supervise, protect, and empower street children, orphans, and abandoned children by providing comprehensive support that enables them to become self-sufficient, educated, and responsible members of society.
To create a society where every orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable child in the Democratic Republic of Congo has access to quality education, healthcare, protection, and opportunities to become productive, self-reliant citizens who contribute positively to their communities and nation.
We provide a safe and nurturing home for orphaned and vulnerable children, offering modern residential care, nutritious meals, and 24/7 supervision. Our programs include formal education from nursery to secondary level, vocational training in practical skills, health and nutrition support, life skills and character development, agricultural training, and community outreach focused on child protection and family reunification.
